THURSDAY 1ST APRIL
BIN END has taken his race well and had a nice lead out today and pick of grass after his run yesterday. We had fancied him to go close, but on the evidence of the run he clearly did not stay. He will be seen to much better effect next time when dropped back in distance and the race should now put him spot on.

BIARAAFA
I am not sure what the runners are likely to be over the Easter period but HIGHLAND LEGACY could head to Musselburgh on Sunday for Musselburgh Gold Cup. He has been in great form at home and hopefully on ground he will like, her should give a good account of himself.

KHELEYF EX SANPALA
On Monday we possibly have two runners when CONSIDER YOURSELF looks like running at Warwick. She is a nice filly and hopefully she will have a good productive year this season. She has wintered well and looks to have matured both mentally and physically over the winter. ADMISSION was kept of the track last year and he could make his debut at Yarmouth. He has been doing some nice pieces of work at home and looks as though he could be a really nice horse this year.

COMPASSION
We have today made entries for next week with RED AMY at Kempton and TELL HALAF at Nottingham. RED AMY is another who looks to have wintered well and hopefully she will be able to progress this year. TELL HALAF has now been given a rating of 65 which we hope is fair. He is a big horse who still looks quite backwards, but he is learning all the time and trimming up as he is quite a burly horse. We hope that he will continue to progress and can win a race or two of this rating.
MONDAY 29TH MARCH
We have declared BIN END to run on Wednesday. He has been in good form at home and hopefully will give a good account of himself here. He is a nice horse and hopefully should have a good season this year.
BERTOLINI EX HEAVENLY BAY
On Saturday our only runner was JUICY PEAR. He raced im mid division and when asked to go he was not match to the evenutal winner and finished well down the field.
AMELIA'S SURPRISE
On Sunday we had our first runner on the turf. COLLECT ART was having his second outing and it also meant a second ride for Ian Burns our young apprentice. The horse ran well and although during the race Ian was a little bit inexperienced and dropped his rain when getting after the horse he rode him well and the horse ran a satisfactory race, He certainly looked to have improved from his first run and showed nice early speed. He has taken the race well and continues to progress. Later on the card we had REGENERATION running. He is another who looked as though he needed the race. He had a lovely run through and was staying on well at the end to finish sixth. This should hopefully put him spot on for next time. Our last runner was SATURN GIRL and she looked as though she was going to win but just got touch out for first and second and finished third. It was a good run and hopefully a win should come shortly. She is a sweet little filly and like the other looks to have taken the race well.

EMPRESS CHARLOTTE
FRIDAY 26TH MARCH
Last night we had the one runner when BABYCAKES ran at Kempton. She looks to have improved over the winter from two to three and finished fifth after getting tired in the last furlong. She should hopefully come on from the run and fingers crossed she should be able to win her maiden.

Tomorrow we head back to Kempton with JUICY PEAR in the Handicap. he has an opposition of eight and hopefully he will continue in winning ways building on his success last time out.
On Sunday we have the three runners at Doncaster and Ian Burns gets his second ride aboard COLLECT ART. This horse looked to get tired last time and hopefully he will show that he has come on from his first run. He is a nice big strong horse and will only get better as the season develops. Also running at Doncaster is a nice filly called SATURN GIRL who was with Simon Callaghan last season. This filly has wintered well and hopefully she will give a good account of herself here. She has an eight runner field opposing her so finger crossed. Our only other runner at the meeting is REGENERATION and he has looked good in his work at home. The horses look in great form and hopefully they will all run with credit.
It looks likes being a fairly quiet week, next week with only entries on Wednesday with SOUL HEAVEN holding an entry atKempton and he is entered again on Wednesday at Southwell along with BIN END
WEDNESDAY 24TH MARCH
On Monday we were fairly pleased with CRUNCHED'S effort at Wolverhampton. He certainly bumped into a nice individual who won the race and she hold an Oaks entry. Our horse traveled well throughout the race and when asked to quicken he just seemed to get a bit tired when approaching the final furlong. he has taken the race well and we will now look to finding another suitable opportunity for him which he should now be spot on for.
We have had no runners yesterday or today, but we do get back to the action tomorrow when BABYCAKES runs at Kempton. I watched her work last Wednesday and she worked nicely. She is a real sweet filly who hopefully will progress this season.
Today the horses worked on the Back of the Flat Gallop and the morning did not go without drama.

MONT AGEL AND STRONG VIGILANCE
The first group consisted of MONT AGEL and STRONG VIGILANCE. These are both nice looking colts who are going really nicely at present and are shaping up well.
TELL HALAF AND ADMISSION
I really like TELL HALAF and he ran nicely first time out and seems to be progressing in the right way. ADMISSION is a nice horse and some niggley little problems kept him off the track last year but they seem to be a thing of the past.

REGENERATION AND SATURN GIRL
These two horses were doing a nice easy piece of work before they are due to run on Sunday at Doncaster. At this stage they both look like running and they went well together which is encouraging.
LOMBOK
LOMBOK has always been a favorite and he worked nicely with one of Dave Morris's. He looks as though he is starting to take shape and was moving sweetly on the ground.

SUNNY GAME, PLAYGROUND AND WIGMORE HALL
This gallop ended in disaster after poor Dave Murray and WIGMORE HALL parted company. Dave's stirrup iron broke just as all three joined together and he was thrown to the ground. Thankfully after a morning at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge he was allowed home and although sore and with a big bump on his head he is none the worse for the event. WIGMORE HALL escaped completely safe and sound which is really good news as he had been traveling so nicely. PLAYGROUND his really starting to come together as is SUNNY GAME who has now worked well on both occasions I have been out.
MADAME ROULIN MAIN SPRING AND RED AMY
MADAME ROULIN has improved this year which is great and she looks as though she is shaping into a nice three-year-old. She worked with the improving RED AMY and MAIN SPRING who is also shaping up nicely.
SHREWD DECISION, BAKONGO AND COUNTRY FAIR
SHREWD DECISION has only just arrived into us after having spent some time at Malcolm Bastard's yard. He does such a fantastic job with them and she certainly knew her business under Hayley Turner. BAKONGO looks as though she is also heading the right way and they were joined by COUNTRY FAIR who took a while to get going but the penny looked as though it was starting to drop.
FRIDAY 19TH MARCH
Yesterday we had just the one runner at Southwell when COLLECT ART made his racecourse debut. He raced very prominent early on and got tired and weakened inside the final furlong. He will have needed the run as he is a big horse and he will certainly come on for the effort.
Our next runner looks like being CRUNCHED on Monday at Wolverhampton. He has wintered really well and hopefully he will have progressed from two to three.
On Wednesday the horses went on the gallops for the first time working on the back of the flat. We are having some really lovely spring weather and the gallops seem to have suffered with all the cold weather we have had in January and February and the covering of grass was not great. I am sure we are due some rain soon which will help and what’s the betting it will come at the weekend when I want to do my garden.

SATURN GIRL AND REGENERATION
The first group to work consisted of SATURN GIRL and REGENERATION. These horses were in training with Simon Callaghan last season and they looked to be going the right way.

BIN END AND FAR FROM OLD
BIN END looks lovely horse and he worked with FAR FROM OLD over the straight mile. BIN END has some good form and had a few niggley problems after his last run which kept him off the track. Hopefully these are a thing of the past and he will fulfil his potential this season. FAR FROM OLD is a real gentleman of a horse and he was in training in France with John Hammond last season. He is liked by all in the yard and hopefully will be a decent horse for this season.

WIGMORE HALL, MONT AGEL AND COORDINATED CUT
COORDINATED CUT was ridden in his work by Jamie Spencer and he was nicely settled in behind WIGMORE HALL and MONT AGEL when he passed me and when asked to quicken he finished nicely upsides these other two horses. They look to be three nice individuals and are being brought to the boil nicely.

CRUNCHED AND ADMISSION
CRUNCHED and ADMISSION are going in the right direction and they worked nicely finishing together. CRUNCHED looked in great form ahead of his possible participation on Monday.

SUNNY GAME, PLAYGROUND AND MOTIRANI
PLAYGROUND was ridden by Hayley Turner and he looks to be shaping up nicely working well with SUNNY GAME and MOTIRANI.

SOUL HEAVEN AND STRONG VIGILANCE
STRONG VIGILANCE is a horse that is liked a lot in the yard and he went well working nicely upsides SOUL HEAVEN.

BABYCAKES
BABYCAKES is another who is heading in the right direction and she worked well enough to earn herself and entry on Thursday at Kempton.

WILD ROSE AND MAIN SPRING
WILD ROSE did her first piece of easy work partnering MAIN SPRING who went well enough over seven furlongs coming together as they met the rising ground.

CONSIDER YOURSELF AND BLUE ZEALOT
CONSIDER YOURSELF has come in and looks a lot stronger filly than she did last season. She worked nicely with the improving BLUE ZEALOT and both look as though they would not be far from a run.

MISS CHAUMIERE AND BAKONGO
MISS CHAUMIERE worked with BAKONGO and these are two fillies that are starting to come themselves after the spell of warmer weather.

ENJOYMENT AND BOUNCY BOUNCY
BOUNCY BOUNCY is not far off the entry making stage and she partnered ENJOYMENT who looks as though she will be a nice filly this season. She has been entered on the 26th March at Lingfield.

ACTIVATE AND TACTICIAN
ACTIVATE and TACTICIAN are two nice horses and are really starting to come together. They worked nicely over seven furlongs finishing well together as they met the rising ground.
TUESDAY 16TH MARCH

Sunny Game and Admission Gramercy and Horseradish
Well Cheltenham is here and again we have done our naps table for the whole week which is run by Chris Conway. Needless to say with four races already gone I have not picked a winner which is no great surprise. On Friday we are looking forward to ADVISOR who we used to have here run in the Triumph Hurdle. He has taken to jumping really well and its great to see him have a real chance in such a big race.

Old Master Expert & Bertolin Ex Biaraafa
Heavenly Bay
On Saturday we had BURGHLEY running at Wolverhampton. He was allowed to dominate the race when he won and he failed to do that here. He still looked very green and never troubled the leaders. he appears to have taken the race well and hopefully he will be back to his best shortly.

Exceed & Excel Ex Farrfesheena Cape Cross Ex Red Conquest &
Royal Liaison & Empress Charlotte Handel's Messiah
Today we have seen a good effort from TELL HALAF who run at Southwell. It was great to see Jamie Spencer back riding for us and he always had the horse handy behind the leaders. When asked to go he was shaken up and weakened inside the final furlong. He looked as though he may have just got tired and could be a nice horse like his brother TOPAZES who we had plenty of success with winning five races as a three-year-old.

Sweetie Time & Amelia's Surprise Set to Music & Khelefy Ex Sanpala
On Thursday we have declared a nice colt called COLLECT ART. We have always liked this horse and he looks as though he has done well over the winter. He I think will be a nice horse to follow as the season unfolds. He will run well here but will probably need the run.

Church of England & Syrian Titivation & Sariska
Another who has started having entries made is CRUNCHED and he finally go off the mark when winning in October last year at Wolverhampton. He is entered at the track again on Monday and we will see how is before deciding if he should take his chance.
FRIDAY 12TH MARCH

BLUE ZEALOT & MADAME ROULIN BAKONGO, RED AMY & MISS CHAUMIERE

ENJOYMENT & BOUNCY BOUNCY PLAYGROUND, DR FINLEY AND CRUNCHED
We were so glad that JUICY PEAR got off the mark yesterday after some good efforts. It could be pointed out that Jim Parker who has been looking after the horse gave him up at the begining of the week for a new two year old that had come in and this possibly only enhanced JUICY PEAR'S chances. One things for sure he certainly did not miss geordie Jim and won nicely for his new groom Lee Pollitt. Hayley had him tracking the leaders and he looked as though he was taking quite a keen hold. He made good headway three furlongs out and was ridden to lead inside final furlong. Its great to get off the mark with him and reward his very patient owner Mr Maguire with a winner.

CONCEPTUAL ART & SOUL HEAVEN HIGHLAND LEGACY AND BIN END

HYPNOTIZED & COORDINATED CUT STRONG VIGILANCE AND WIGMORE HALL
Last night we sent DR FINLEY to Wolverhampton for his seasons debut. Hayley had traveled to Wolverhampton from Southwell to ride him. She had him held up, but in touch and he looked to be carrying his head in quite an awkward fashion with two furlongs still left to run. When asked to go he looked quite one paced in the final furlong. He will have needed the run and will come on allot from this.

SUNNY GAME & ONE LONDON PROMPTER & TACTICIAN

MONT AGEL & COLLECT ART BURGHLEY & TELL HALAF
We have declared BURGHLEY for tomorrow and he should give a good account of himself. He has looked in good form since hiss race and has been pleasing in his canters at home.

LOCHAN MOR, SATURN GIRL & ALLIED POWERS & LOMBOK
REGENERATION
We have made entries next week for COLLECT ART and TELL HALAF. Both these horse look fantastic and look to have benefited from the trotting over the winter. I really like TELL HALAF and he ran last year whilst still being quite weak. he has certainly filled his frame and could be a nice horse. COLLECT ART has always looked a quality individual and he was kept of the track last year. We know he is a nice horse and having been given the time hopefully he can have a good season.
TUESDAY 9TH MARCH

BIN END, FAR FROM OLD, HIGHLAND LEGACY AND ALLIED POWERS
PASTEL BLUE was our first runner on Friday to run at Lingfield. She again pulled quite hard early on in the race and paid the price for this when she was caught inside the final furlong after setting a decent gallop. She has gone home now and a decision will be made on her future. She is a well bred filly and has won a race so she could possibly be kept for breeding.

REGENERATION, LOCHAN GIRL AND SATURN GIRL
Later in the evening Ian Burns made his racecourse debut on AL DAFA and he gave him a good ride having him settled in about fifth for most of the race. When asked to go the horse lookd a bit one paced and stayed on well to finish sixth. The horse will benefit from the run and hopefully he will certainly have the ability to win his maiden. I am also sure on the evidence of Ian's first ride it will not be that long before he rides his first winner!

MOTIRANI, MONT AGEL AND WIGMORE HALL
On Thursday we have declared JUICY PEAR and DR FINLEY to run at Southwell and Wolverhampton. Poor old JUICY PEAR has been so unlucky in both his previous starts and hopefully he will get a change of fortune here.
DR FINLEY AND STRONG VIGILANCE
DR FINLEY failed to win his maiden last season after some good efforts when always finishing in the first four. He looks a much better horse for this year and it would be great to get his season started with a victory here. he has strengthend up well over the winter.
SOUL HEAVEN AND COORDINATED CUT
We have also made an entry for BURGHLEY on Saturday at Wolverhampton. He was an impressive winner when scoring his victory at Wolverhampton in a maiden in January. The form of the race has worked out well and it will be good to see this horse on the track again.
COLLECT ART, SUNNY GAME AND PLAYGROUND
FRIDAY 5TH MARCH

SATURN GIRL SUNNY GAME

PLAYGROUND TELL HALAF
Well thankfully BINTHERE DUNTHAT got off the mark last night at Wolverhampton. She traveled really well throughout the race and quickened at the furlong pole. She always looked in control and showed some decent cruising speed with a good change of foot when asked to go. It is great to get a win under her belt with and she certainly deserved a change of fortune. Hopefully we can now find some nice races for her and she will progress in those.

COLLECT ART AL DAFA

MONT AGEL HYPNOTIZED
We did not declare JUICY PEAR to run in the claimer this evening but we have declared PASTEL BLUE to run at Lingfield and AL DAFA to run at Wolverhampton. PASTEL BLUE pulled very hard when she run at Lingfield last time over a mile. We feel she will appreciate the drop back to seven furlongs and hopefully Pat Cosgrave who is riding her due to Hayley's ban will manage to get her to relax and settle nicely. She is capable of winning races and hopefully we feel with conditions in her favour she will go close.

CRUNCHED MOTIRANI

STRONG VIGILANCE TACTICIAN
Tonight Ian Burns our new apprentice has his first ride at Wolverhampton on AL DAFA. The horse would not be without a chance and Ian has proved since he started here in September 2008 that he has the makings of a jockey in time. He is going to walk the course when he arrives with our Traveling Head lad Chris Conway which should be educational. AL DAFA ran last year for Godolphin and was switched to us after he had two runs for them, hopefully he could be a nice horse. We just hope that both horse and jockey will enjoy the experience and they will have a fairytale finish.

BAKONGO BINTHERE DUNTHAT

ENJOYMENT SOUL HEAVEN
We have made entries next week FOR JUICY PEAR on Thursday at Southwell and also for DR FINLEY at Wolverhampton and then on Friday we have made another entry for DR FINLEY also at Wolverhampton. It is great to start getting going again now with runners and things really seem to have picked up. Please do not forget to enter our Six to Follow competition, entries close on the 25th March.

BLUE ZEALOT MAIN SPRING

MING MENG BOUNCY BOUNCY
TUESDAY 2ND MARCH

ALLIED POWERS
Poor JUICY PEAR was unlucky again yesterday and with a furlong to run you would have felt confident he was going to oblige but sadly he lost the race in a three way photo having been caught on the line. It is a great shame that he did not get off the mark as we were confident that he would go close. He is in again on Friday in the claiming race and could possibly take his chance if he is okay over the next couple of days. Sadly Hayley is banned so if he does run he will be ridden by Jimmy Fortune. It is great to be able to use Jimmy Fortune as he is a good jockey and after losing his retainer to John Gosden, it means that through the season he will be more available to use. John Gosden's loss is certainly everyone else's gain.

LOCHAN MOR
We have declared BINTHERE DUNTHAT for Thursday at Wolverhampton. She has been in great form and surely a win after two seconds is only a matter of time. We hope we have found the ideal race for her here and fingers crossed she will now get off the mark.

REGENERATION
Today was Derby forfeits and after scratching five, we now only have three horses from Fitzroy left in the race. They are COORDINATED CUT, MONT AGEL and PROMPTER and hopefully come the 5th June we will still have one in the race to keep the dream alive.

FAR FROM OLD
