RESULTS UP TO AND INCLUDING TUESDAY 28TH JULY
FRIDAY 31ST JULY
It was a busy day yesterday for us at Fitzroy with masses of runners but sadly no winners. On Wednesday we were left slightly frustrated after we could not run NIGHT KNIGHT at Leicester due to the meeting abandoned. Jack Mitchell had a fall in the race before ours and was accompanied in the ambulance by one of the course doctors on the way to hospital; this left only one doctor at the course and two is needed for the meeting to go ahead. It was really frustrating as owners have to pay to get the horses to the track and it certainly is not cheap. At Sandown we had the one runner GREEK KEY who was making his racecourse debut. He was slowly into his stride and wnhe he did get going he then took quite a keen hold and made some progress with a furlong left to run. It was an encouraging run and should bring him on for next time.
At Goodwood we had four runners and the first of these to run was THE BETCHWORTH KID who again gave another good effort. He was settled at the rear of the field and made really good progress on the outside of the field with four furlongs left to run. He managed to get third but was never going to catch the leading pair and had to settle for third. He could possibly head for the Ebor next where hopefully the race will suit him. Just before LADY ARTEMISIA race, the course had the most almighty down pour of rain which changed the going and led to really unpleasant conditions. Our filly ran well on this step up in class to finish fifth and hopefully she will be able to pick up a listed or group race before the end of the season to help her with a career at stud. BRAE HILL chances were probably scuppered as soon as this down pour came, but he ran well for six furlongs and was always up with the pace just fading inside the final furlong to finish seventh. Our last runner on the card at Goodwood was MISS CHAUMIERE who as expected ran quite green and due to her draw seemed to race alone in the centre straight which would not have helped her. She is certainly better than this run suggests and we will see how she is before making further plans for her. She will probably benefit from a bit more time. At Nottingham we had the two runners in HERECOMETHEGIRLS who was making her racecourse debut and GASSIN who was running for the first time since he had been gelded. HERECOMETHEGIRLS was slowly into her stride and was ridden with two furlongs left to run and weakened. Hopefully the run will bring her on and she may appreciate a firmer surface. GASSIN was slowly away from the starting gates but raced prominently and was given every chance but weakened inside the final furlong. This left us with our only other chance of a winner being DOVE MEWS at Epsom and sadly she did not deliver finishing fourth. She was given a positive ride by Hayley Turner and was second approaching the final furlong. She was unable to quicken and stayed on at the one pace.
We have no runners today after the withdrawal of SOUL HEAVEN from Goodwood. We have a busy weekend though with ADVISOR heading to Doncaster where he would not be without a good chance. At Goodwood FOUR WINDS hits the track minus a certain piece of his anatomy and he seems to have thrived since being gelded. We are hopeful of a good run from him. Also at Goodwood MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE steps up into Group One class after missing the Falmouth Stakes last month. She has been in good form at home and certainly deserves to take her chance in this company. Hopefully she can keep her fantastic run going. At Lingfield we see the re-appearance of DR FINLEY who ran a really nice race at Yarmouth on his debut. He looks to have improved in his work from this run and we are hoping that he will be able to break his maiden tag. Our only other runner on Saturday is CAUGHT ON CAMERA and she put up a good display last time. She should have come on a lot from the run to do herself justice here.
On Sunday we just have the one runner when PROMPTER heads to Chester. He has been in good form since his second at Ascot and hopefully he will go close here. It looks a competitive little race with I think, Mark Johnstons Realisation being a big danger.
WEDNESDAY 29TH JULY
We felt we were very unlucky at Goodwood yesterday with MOYENNE CORNICHE who was being tried over the mile and a quarter for the first time. He raced prominently on the inside rail and was trapped behind horses from three furlongs out. He gradually lost his place from two out and was eased when he had no chance inside the final furlong. It looked as though it was going to be a promising run from the horse and hopefully he will have more luck next time and he will also get his much longed for soft ground.
He was our only runner yesterday and today we have NIGHT KNIGHT at Leicester and GREEK KEY at Sandown.
Tomorrow is a really busy day for the yard with four runners at Goodwood, one runner at Epsom and two runners at Nottingham. At Goodwood our first runner is THE BETCHWORTH KID in the Goodwood Cup and it would be great to see him lift the prize after his unlucky run in the Northumberland Plate. He has been in good form at home and his chance would be further improved if they have some rain at the track. LADY ARTEMISIA steps up into group 3 company after some real consistent efforts and we expect her to put up a decent display. She is owned by Mr & Mrs Moretti who own Wattlefield Hall Stud so we are hoping that she can add some black type to her C. V. BRAE HILL won nicely last time at Chester and he has been kept ticking over with this race in mind. He has been in fantastic form and we think he will give a good account of himself. MISS CHAUMIERE is making her racecourse debut and she has been working well at home. The race may just have come a week or so to soon, but it is an ideal opportunity for her to run as her owner Mr Pearce is at Goodwood and as he only gets to spend a limited time in this country as he resides in Hong Kong. DOVE MEWS is our only runner at Epsom and hopefully if they get the rain that is forecast she should give a very good account of herself. At Nottingham we have a very nice three-year-old running called HERECOMETHEGIRLS who is a half sister to JUSTLIKE A WOMAN who we also trained. She is a very kind, sweet filly who has come on leaps and bounds since she has been here. She is still a little green in her work but she has done so well catching the other up as she did not come in until quite late this year. We expect a very promising debut run from her and she will certainly improve from this run. Our last runner is GASSIN and he has been gelded since his last run as he did not appear to have his mind a 100% on the job. Hopefully this will have done the trick with him and we can get him back on track.
The horses worked today on the Summer Gallop
ART CONNOISSEUR
ART CONNOISSEUR seemed in great form coming back up the gallops on his own. He is being primed for a possible run in the Nunthorpe at York later in the month.
TACTICIAN, DR FINLEY AND MONT AGEL
DR FINLEY looks to have come on a lot after his run at Yarmouth and worked nicely with the TACTICIAN who has done really well considering he only arrived at the beginning of the month and MONT AGEL looks as though he is shaping up to be a nice colt.

GRAMERCY AND FEARLESS FALCON
GRAMERCY is an improving sort and he worked encouragingly with FEARLESS FALCON doing an easy piece of work. They are both just starting to have there workloads increased and so are horses to keep an eye on.
RED AMY, WILD ROSE AND RUBY DAZZLER
RED AMY is another who looks to have improved from her run and she worked well from the recently named WILD ROSE who looks as though she is shaping up into a nice prospect and RUBY DAZZLER also gave an encouraging effort.
THELADYISATRAMP AND SHARP AND CHIC
THELADYISATRAMP worked very nicely with SHARP AND CHIC and both fillies look as though a racecourse debut is not to far in the future. They are both starting to work well and hopefully this will continue.
BALLANTRAE AND LA ADELITA
It was great to see BALLANTRAE working well after a few niggley little problems and she worked well with LA ADELITA who is really starting to come to herself . It is great to see LA ADELITA back at Fitzroy.
RED HORSE
It was good to see RED HORSE back on the gallops after having to have some time off and he looked to be moving really well on his first outing up the working ground.

FOUR WINDS AND ADVISOR
FOUR WINDS looked in great form ahead of his possible participation at Goodwood on Saturday and he seemed to be in tip top form working well with ADVISOR who also looked to be enjoying life. He also is a possible runner on Saturday at Doncaster.
ROYAL BET, ORBITOR AND LOMBOK
ROYAL BET is really starting to thrive again after being gelded and he looked really good in his gallop along with ORBITOR who is really starting to come to himself again. LOMBOK who won last time went nicely with them and sadly he had to miss Goodwood due to being balloted out of his race due to the amount of runners, which is a shame as he looks as though he would have run a good race.
MONDAY 27TH JULY
We had a really good weekend and although we had no winners the horses have all ran amazingly well. At Ascot we had tow runners in the International Stakes in SECRET SOCIETY and REDFORD. SECRET SOCIETY we were hoping for a big run from with such a light weight and he did not disappoint. He was held up towards the rear and chased the leader traveling really well. He battled on well and was held by the winner. REDFORD who was certainly giving weight away to SECRET SOCIETY and a lot of the others. He was steadied at the start and was held up last with three furlongs still to run. He was found short of room briefly two furlongs from home and ran on to chase the leading pair inside the final furlong. It was a good day and they each won a fair amount of prize money as these handicaps are very valuable to be placed in. At York we had another great day with both runners finishing second. ALLIED POWERS is the most amazing genuine horse and he really gives his all, no matter what the ground is. It is certainly a well known fact that he is more suited by softer ground which he did not get on Saturday but he is so genuine. He was held up towards the rear and made some headway over five furlongs out. He stayed on to take second inside the final furlong but never looked like catching the winner who looks a nice horse. Later on the card at York, it was great to see the re-appearance of L’ENCHANTERESSE after her second at Newmarket. She again ran a good race but sadly had to settle for second, being beaten by a horse of Karl Burkes who looks as though he could be a really decent horse. The winner’s dam is Leonica who we trained for Mr Farr and he was bred by the very successful Worksop Manor Stud which is owned by the Farr family so well done to them. Our filly has taken the race well and is a really decent type we think.
Today we have seen GO FORTH NORTH run at Yarmouth and she managed to finish fourth. She looks as though she will definitely stay further as she seemed to be running on again at the end after being up with the pace early on and dropping away during the middle part of the race. She works so well at home, so we know she has ability and a win surely is not too far away.
Tomorrow we have MOYENNE CORNCIHE running at Goodwood and he is in really good form. He is being tried over a mile and a quarter for the first time, but any rain would certainly be appreciated.
On Wednesday we have declared LOMBOK at Goodwood and he is currently a reserve and will only run if they get some non runners. He is in good form and hopefully he will squeeze into the race. At Leicester we have NIGHT KNIGHT declared to run and hopefully he can get himself back on track. We are also introducing a nice two year old to the track called GREEK KEY who has been going nicely in his work at home. We are hopeful of a big run from him.
FRIDAY 24TH JULY

MEZZANISI
Last night we reached the 29 winner mark at Folkestone when HALFWAY HOUSE won. He was given a lovely ride by Chris Catlin who settled him off the pace of a strongly run race. When asked to go he quickened up nicely to score his victory. He has now won his last two starts so hopefully he can keep this winning run going. Earlier in the day, we had seen THOMAS BAINES finish fifth on his re-appearance after a break, due to his being gelded. He again took a keen hold as he has done a lot in his races and made some progress over two furlongs out, but was ridden entering final furlong and then hung left near finish and had to settle for fifth place. We know he is capable of winning races and hopefully he will show this next time. We were slightly unlucky at Doncaster last night with ENJOYMENT who had to take up the running a long way out which she was not suited by and we feel if she had got a lead for a bit longer she would probably have won. She is a nice filly and it will not be long before she loses the maiden tag. STEEL FREE ran disappointingly for her as she has been in good form. She ran up with the pace but dropped out inside the final furlong. It was her first time in handicap class and we think that she certainly would have been closer if the ground had maybe been a bit softer for her. We will see how she is over the next couple of days before making further plans.

MOYENNE CORNICHE
It was great to see HIGHLAND LEGACY run after having a year of the track. he ran a good race but was giving away masses of weight to the eventual winner who won by a fair distance and our horse plugged away to get third. It was good to see him back and the race will hopefully put him spot on for his next target. Later on the card we have FOOLIN MYSELF running and hopefully they have had enough rain at the course for him to do himself justice.

HORSERADISH AND RED AMY
Tonight we have GREAT CHARM declared at York and then tomorrow at the track we have the nice little filly L'ENCHANTERESSE running and hopefully she will build on her second at Newmarket last time to go one better here. ALLIED POWERS will hopefully get the ground he likes at York and as long as he does , he should have a really good chance in the Group 2 York Stakes. He is a decent horse and is certainly capable of winning in this company. At Ascot we have good chances in the big seven furlong handicap where we run SECRET SOCIETY and REDFORD who both have outstanding chances.

METAPHORIC
WEDNESDAY 22ND JULY
Our only runner today is this evening at Leicester when AUNT NICOLA will hopefully give a good account of herself.
After the withdrawal of HALFWAY HOUSE at Yarmouth yesterday we were left with just the two runners. The first of these to run was BUSSELL ALONG who was running in the seller. She was slowly into her stride and was ridden towards the rear. She was ridden three furlongs out and stayed on to chase the leading pair inside final furlong. She looks as though she may want further and has been entered again next week over a mile and a half. Later on the card we had a few nervous moments with BETONY when she looked as though she may just not go into the starting stalls. Thankfully she did and she ran a really nice race. She was settled to track the leaders when she was found short of room briefly well over one furlong out. She was ridden to chase the leading pair inside the final furlong and kept on under pressure to go 2nd in the last strides. It was a really encouraging run and on this evidence she is certainly capable of breaking her maiden tag.
On Thursday we introduce a nice filly called ENJOYMENT to the track at Doncaster and we are expecting a good run. She is a nice little filly who could turn out to be very good we hope! Also at Doncaster we run the very nice Danehill Dancer filly called STEEL FREE. She has come on a lot since her win at Warwick and although not with the best draw, we think she will run a good race. At Folkestone we have re-routed HALFWAY HOUSE to run after missing Yarmouth yesterday. He is in good form and he will be ridden by big Manchester United fan Chris Catlin who hopefully can get him home in front. At Sandown we see the re-appearance of THOMAS BAINES who has been off the track for a couple of months after he was gelded. He has seems much calmer at home and hopefully this small operation will get him back on the right track.
Today the horses worked on the gallops called the Back of the Flat.

ACTIVATE, ADMISSION AND GREEK KEY
The first group to come up consisted of three really nice two year old colts who look as though they are not far from a run. ACTIVATE we have always liked and he has put in some nice work with SYRIAN who won on Monday as has GREEK KEY. ADMISSION is a little behind the others on the amount of work he has done but again looks a nice individual.

MONT AGEL AND TACTICIAN
These two colts were doing there first pieces of work. TACTICIAN only arrived during the beginning of this month and he certainly looks to be a nice horse as does MONT AGEL who looked very smart in his work.

L'ENCHANTERESSE AND PROFESSOR JOHN
L'ENCHANTERESSE looked in fantastic form and she has a number of possible targets coming up at the weekend including the group three Princess Margaret Stakes. PROFESSOR JOHN worked well and looks to
have come on a great deal from his win at Brighton.

GO FORTH NORTH AND MISS CHAUMIERE
GO FORTH NORTH is a filly who is surely not far off winning her maiden. She worked well again with MISS CHAUMIERE who was only doing her second piece of work. GO FORTH NORTH is entered at yarmouth on Tuesday and MISS CHAUMIERE could run at Goodwood on Thursday.

RUBY DAZZLER, BAKONGO AND BABYCAKES
These three two year old filles are starting to be brought to the boil and should be ready to run shortly. They worked nicely together and they all look as though they are heading the right way.

GREAT CHARM
GREAT CHARM has been declared to run at York on Friday evening and he looked in great form.

HERECOMETHEGIRLS, BALLANTRAE AND LA ADELITA
HERECOMETHEGIRLS is improving all the time and she worked really well with the nice filly BALLANTRAE who is really starting to take shape. It was great to see LA ADELITA back and she looked really well having also arrived into us quite late on into the season.
MONDAY 20TH JULY
Sadly we have managed no winners at the weekend but we did however manage a second place at Ripon with LADY ARTEMISIA. She was our only runner at the Yorkshire track and she looked to be taking a keen hold early on. She chased the leaders and was asked for effort three furlongs out but was slightly one paced inside the final furlong. She has taken the race well and is certainly improving with her races. At Newmarket we were left with two runners ACT GREEN and she raced quite keen with the visor for the early part of the race and when asked to make her effort she weakened inside the final furlong. BAHAMIAN BABE sadly the rain would not have done her any favours and she chased the leaders and was ridden with two furlongs left to run but could find no extra inside the final furlong.
We had no runners on Sunday after the abandonment of Redcar where GREAT CHARM was due to run.
Today we have got back to the action with three runners at Yarmouth after the and sadly we have had to withdraw L'ENCHANTERESSE at Windsor tonight. Today we have seen a really smart effort from a newcomer SYRIAN who was making his racecourse debut at Yarmouth. Hayley said she likes him a lot and although he raced quite keen for the first furlong, when asked to quicken he did so nicely and looks a really decent sort. JESSICA HAYLLAR was very unlucky to be touched off by a nose after a decent effort and she has now left our yard after 27 people tried to claim her, hopefully she will give her new connections some fun. Our last runner of the day was BUBSES BOY who was taken to the front early on and with two left to run he could not find anymore and had to settle for fourth.
Tomorrow we send three runners to Yarmouth again. BUSSELL ALONG has been declared to run in the seller and this is certainly in her cpabilites to win in this particular grade. HALFWAY HOUSE who won last time at Brighton hits the track again and hopefully he can continue in winning ways. Our last runner is at the meeting is BETONY and she has not run since she was withdrawn at Nottingham as she would not enter the starting stalls, hopefully we will not have any hiccups at the track with her tomorrow.
On Wednesday we have just the one runner which is AUNT NICOLA and hopefully she can get back on track with a decent effort here.
FRIDAY 17TH JULY

FOOLIN MYSELF
We had three runners yesterday, one at Epsom and two at Doncaster. ADVISOR was running at Epsom and we were not sure if he was going to run as we were unsure about the going. He did run and raced keenly and despite a gap opening up for him, from his weakening rivals a furlong and a half from home, his challenge sadly came to nothing and he had to settle for fourth. MOYENNE CORNICHE tried to make all at Doncaster, coming up the middle of the track. He looked as though he may just hold on but sadly was beaten close to home after finding himself short of room. It was a good run and he really is at home on this soft ground. EDDIE BOY has turned out to be a big disappointment and he was sadly never going. He clearly is not in love with the game and I am not sure what plans will be made for him next.

SUMMERS LEASE
Today we have seen LOCHAN MOR running at Haydock. He sat fourth or fifth and when asked to go made a bit of progress but stayed on at the one pace. Later today at Nottingham, we have just seen MOGGY run. She was sat last in a strong run race and stayed on steadily without troubling the winner to get second. Sadly she was claimed after her race and will now leave Fitzroy but hopefully she will give her new connections lots of fun.

ART CONNOISSEUR
Our only other runner today is RED AMY and she should give a good account of herself at Newmarket this evening. She still looks a bit green but has been working well and we are hopeful of a decent effort. The Pussycat Dolls are playing at the July course so it is certainly expected to be busy although the weather may effect this.

BETONY
Tomorrow we have two runners at Newmarket where ACT GREEN has been dropped back in trip to run over six furlongs. She should love the ground and hopefully she can give a good account of herself. BAHAMIAN BABE will probably find the ground rather soft for her liking but she has been in good form at home and hopefully this will not inconvenience her. At Ripon I think we have a good chance with LADY ARTEMISIA who will really like the ground. She has been in good form and hopefully her winning run can continue.

SARISKA
On Sunday we have GREAT CHARM who is back on his favoured ground at Redcar. He has been working nicely and with conditions in his favour he should have a good chance.
WEDNESDAY 15TH JULY
We were delighted with PROFESSOR JOHN’S win at Brighton where he put up a good display. He was settled nicely by Hayley and was short of room two furlongs from home. He was switched him and ran on really well for pressure going away from the odds on favourite ridden by Jamie Spencer.

LADY ARTEMISIA AND LA ADELITA
DR FINLEY ran a promising race on his debut to finish fourth. He seemed to like the soft ground and should come on from the racecourse experience and looks a promising type for the future.

ACT GREEN
PASTEL BLUE was drawn badly which did not help her chances. She was held up but ran on well to finish fifth. She is we think a nice type for nurseries.

HERECOMETHEGIRLS AND BALLANTRAE
MOYENNE CORNICHE should have a good chance in this five runner field. He finally has the ground that he has been crying out for and also races without the visor on at Doncaster he has a good solid chance.

STEEL FREE AND DOVE MEWS
EDDIE BOY has been hard to figure out as he shows a lot of ability at home which he needs to transfer on the racecourse. He ran well first time out this season when ridden by Jamie Spencer and hopefully with Jamie ridding him he will again show improved form here.

BUBSES BOY, HALFWAY HOUSE AND BAHAMIAN BABE
ADVISOR is running at Epsom for the first time and Hayley Turner rides him for the first time and hopefully she can find the key for a big run from him. He has been in good form at home but in his races he appears to take a while to get going at the end of his races. Hopefully the undulating track will keep his mind on the job and he will get back to winning ways.

ORBITOR AND BRAE HILL
SARISKA is in fine form after her race in ireland and she had a special visitor yesterday when Lady Bamford came down to see her yesterday afternoon. It looks as though she is now going to head for the Darley Yorkshire Oaks and then maybe a shot at the Arc could be on the cards.

ALLIED POWERS, THE BETCHWORTH KID AND SUMMERS LEASE
The horses did not work today instead they just used the Warren Hill polytrack. I did go and take some pictures which I have posted.

MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE
MONDAY 13TH JULY
Well what an amazing weekend we have had at Fitzroy. Saturday we had three winners which was absolutely awesome and then yesterday just topped the weekend off.
We will start with Saturday and after the withdrawal of L’ENCHANTERESSE at Nottingham we were left with just the three runners, one at Nottingham and two at Ascot. LOMBOK was running at Nottingham and he was held towards the rear. He was given an excellent patient ride. When he hit the front he hung slightly to the left giving Hayley a two day ban but that was insignificant as it was her first winner back since her break. He looks to have taken the race well and is the type to keep improving. At Ascot we had the two runners SOUL HEAVEN and SECRET SOCIETY. SECRET SOCIETY put up an amazing effort having pulled off three shoes during the race he was still good enough to come out on top. He was settled towards the rear and when asked to go quickened up smartly to win in the dying strides. SOUL HEAVEN despite running very green went on to win a neck under a very strong Jamie Spencer ride.
Yesterday was totally amazing watching the way SARISKA won the Irish Oaks and it really gave you goose bumps the way she won it. She was always travelling strongly and when asked to go it never looked in doubt. It was really cheeky, but funny the way Jamie cruised upsides the leader and then waved to the jockey as he went passed. She returned from Ireland today and she looks a picture. She had a nice lead out at evening stable tonight and a pick of grass.
Tomorrow we are hopeful that PROFESSOR JOHN can continue our purple patch at Brighton. It would be great if he could win as he is owned by Mr Paddy Barrett who is such a lovely man and he put an even bigger smile on all the staff’s faces when he arrived this afternoon laden with strawberries and raspberries for everyone, he really is such a kind person. Also we have DR FINLEY making his racecourse debut. He looks as though he is developing into a nice horse and we are hopeful of a big run from him.
On Wednesday we have two runners with chances in PASTEL BLUE at Lingfield and MISS EZE at Kempton. Both are nice fillies that are certainly capable of winning races and so Fingers crossed for good runs.
FRIDAY 10TH JULY
We had three runners yesterday at various meetings and the first of these was FARMER GILES who ran far too free after jumping so well at the start. He looked as though he would win if the race had been run over five furlongs but faded away inside the final furlong of this six furlong race. It is a shame he jumped so well as he would have been able to get some cover if he had missed the break. AUNT NICOLA seems to be struggling this season to find her form and again she failed to make an impression at Warwick. We had been hopeful of a big run from her but this was not to be and she faded away very tamely in her contest. Our final runner of the day was at Doncaster where ACT GREEN was being tried for the first time wearing a visor. She was held up at the rear and made some effort two furlongs but was soon ridden. She is a hard filly to work out as her form is fairly consistent .
Today we have not had a good so far with REDFORD finishing. He was settled towards the rear and when he was asked to make his move he seemed to take a while to get going. He certainly would have quickened much better on softer ground but again run well. ART CONNOISSEUR certainly did not run as well as he did at Ascot. He was settled at the back of the field and this is where he remained. It was good to see Tom Queally win the race after losing the ride on our horse. Jamie felt that the horse was never travelling and was flat in the last couple of furlongs. We will see how he is over next couple of days.
We are so delighted that Hayley has won her appeal and she was back in action this afternoon at Ascot. It was so nearly a fairytale comeback as she was just beaten by the narrowest of margins. PROMPTER is a real quality horse by Motivator and he was settled nicely towards the rear of the field. He traveled so well and looked like he was the winner a furlong out but when he challenged the leader, he just could not get his head in front but they came along way clear of the others. It is great to have Hayley back and she looked really good after the race and certainly is not lacking in fitness. Our final runner of the day was GREAT CHARM and his race was filled with drama after two of the starting stalls did not open. It took a long time to pull these sprinters up and our horse had traveled for five furlongs before he could be pulled up and passed the finishing line and so was disqualified as he had past the post.
Tomorrow we have two runners at Ascot and we are hopeful for a big run from SOUL HEAVEN who has been in great form at home and hopefully he will show his improvement in nursery class. SECRET SOCIETY was a good second at Royal Ascot and he looks to be in great form and hopefully could go close again. At Nottingham we run the classy little filly L’ENCHANTERESSE who appears to have come on well from her second at Newmarket. Also at Nottingham LOMBOK should have a good chance later on the card.
On Sunday see the first two fillies from the English Oaks clash again at the Curragh in the Irish Oaks. It is going to be a fantastic race and hopefully our filly can come out on top again although she will be up against it. We know our filly is class and she goes to the race in tip top form, so finger crossed!
WEDNESDAY 8TH JULY
BUSSELL ALONG was our only runner on Monday and she was dropped into selling company. She was slowly into her stride and was soon chasing the leaders but looked one pace approaching final furlong. She seems to run in snatches but she is certainly capable of winning races.
Today we have just seen CAUGHT ON CAMERA give a much better effort of herself and she ran a nice race to finish fourth. She was given a lovely ride by George Baker who looks a very good jockey and was always settled handy. When asked for her effort she did not look a match for the first two but stayed on well to take fourth.
She was our only runner today, but tomorrow we send FARMER GILES to Newmarket hoping he can again show the good performance he showed last time when winning at Ripon. He has been in good order at home and we expect him to run well. At Warwick we run AUNT NICOLA who is another that is working well and looks as though she has really started coming to herself. She is a filly that is very capable of winning races. ACT GREEN is our last runner of the day and she heads to Doncaster where the application of the first time visor we are hoping will do the trick with her. She has been putting forward some consistent efforts and the application of the visor we feel will help her travel much better.
On Friday we are really excited at the prospect of the re-appearance of ART CONNOISSEUR in the Darley July Cup. He has been in really good form at home and we are expecting a big run although we would not want anymore rain. REDFORD is our only other runner at the meeting and hopefully he can give another good effort like he did at Royal Ascot when he ran really well on ground that he really would not have liked. The ground should be much more to his favour here. At Ascot we have the three runners and introduce a really nice two-year-old called PROMPTER to the track. We are sure he is a very nice colt and should hopefully, if he does not run to green run a cracking race. Also on the card at Ascot GREAT CHARM should have a good chance on ground that he has been crying out for and FOOLIN MYSELF who will also be at home on this softer surface. He has the visor applied for the first time so fingers crossed this can get him back into winning ways.
Today the horses worked up the peat moss and I was so annoyed with myself as SARISKA was doing her final piece of work and the picture I got was terrible. I tried to get her and her work partner in the picture and ended cutting her head out to get the other horses head in and it was a complete disaster. Thankfully she worked really well which is all that matters and she really did look in amazing form.

BAHAMAIN BABE
BAHAMIAN BABE worked really well on her own and she was ridden by Hayley Turner. We all have everything crossed for tomorrow as it is Hayley's appeal, so hopefully the panel will decide in her favour and she will be able to resume race riding.

THOMAS BAINES, PROFESSOR JOHN AND DR FINLEY
It was good to see THOMAS BAINES back after his gelding operation and break and he looked as though the time and operation has done him the world of good as he worked nicely with PROFESSOR JOHN who looks as though he has come on a lot from his run at Yarmouth. DR FINLEY is going the right way and has entries coming up next week at Yarmouth.
BABYCAKES AND PASTEL BLUE
BABYCAKES looks a really nice filly in the making and she looks as though she has got over the small cut she got that has slightly held us up with her working nicely with PASTEL BLUE who has entries coming up. Hopefully she is a winner waiting to happen.
ENJOYMENT AND BAKONGO
ENJOYMENT put in another good effort and she is certainly a little filly who is starting to blossom as she has put in some really decent efforts of late. BAKONGO worked encouragingly well on what I think was her first time up the work ground.
RED AMY AND SHARP AND CHIC
These two fillies look about ready for a run shortly and went nicely together finishing upsides over the straight six furlongs.
MOYENNE CORNICHE
MOYENNE CORNICHE came up the gallops on his own and we have no plans for him at present but he is in need of cut in the ground when he does finally hit the track again.

REDFORD
REDFORD looked in good order ahead of his run in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket on Friday.
SECRET SOCIETY
SECRET SOCIETY worked really well and he has numerous entries coming up in some of the big handicaps. He looks to have taken his race at Ascot well.
HERECOMETHEGIRLS, BUBSES BOY AND SUMMERS LEASE
The Falbrav filly has now been named HERECOMETHEGIRLS and she has really started to take shape. She is such a sweet natured filly and really tries. She does not look far from a run. BUBSES BOY also worked well and he was followed by SUMMERS LEASE who looks in fantastic form and is working nicely.

BETONY AND BALLANTRAE
BETONY worked really well here leading the good looking filly BALLANTRAE who certainly appears to be coming to herself now. They worked nicely with each other and are certainly heading in the right way.
MONDAY 6TH JULY
On Friday we were very disappointed with the run poor GO FORTH NORTH got. When she was asked to make her effort she was hampered inside the final furlong and it certainly cost her the race and her chances of being placed in the first three. She has taken the race well and hopefully we can find another race for her that she can lose her maiden tag.
On Saturday we had only the two runners at Haydock after the withdrawal of ALLIED POWERS. This left just MEZZANISI in the Old Newton Cup and he ran another fantastic race. This horse is so consistent and certainly deserves more credit than he gets. He was done few favours just after the start when losing his place, but he stayed on really well over the last couple of furlongs to snatch third. What was so pleasing about his effort was, he still tried after having lost his near-fore shoe early on in the race. Our only other runner at the meeting was GASSIN who did not behave particularly well and due to this he has booked himself an appointment with the vets to have something removed! He certainly did not show the same effort as he did when he ran at Nottingham on his last start and Jamie felt that by gelding him it will certainly keep his mind on the job.
MOGGY was our only runner at Leicester and she had been dropped into claiming class. It was a very muddling race as is often the case in this sort of grade with a horse Granski wearing blinkers for the first time setting a blistering pace and MOGGY was settled towards the rear and she had all her rivals to pass turning into the straight. She took a long time to get into top gear and managed to get second although she did not look like she was ever going to trouble the winner. She was not claimed so I am sure we will try and find another similar contest for her shortly. Our final runner was NIGHT KNIGHT at Nottingham. He was held up towards the rear and when asked for effort he did not seem to find anything and finished eighth. It is frustrating as we really thought he had turned a corner when he won at Redcar but he just seems to have been a little disappointing on his last two starts.
We have no runners tomorrow and then we get back to the action with CAUGHT ON CAMERA who runs at Lingfield on Wednesday. She has been working nicely at home so hopefully in this particular race she will be seen to her best.
FRIDAY 3RD JULY
We were pleased with PROFESSOR JOHN'S run at Yarmouth. It was always going to be a tough ask to beat the favorite who looks to be a really nice horse but although quite green early on he ran on nicely towards the end of his race staying on well. He has taken the race well and we will probably try and find something for him in about two to three weeks time.
Today we have taken our winner tally to 22, when thankfully STEEL FREE finally got off the mark after two really encouraging starts. She was given a really nice ride by Chris Catlin and she looked to be a lot better than her rivals taking control of the race from fairly early on. She will come on a lot from this run and we are really hopeful that she develop into a really nice filly. We are so pleased to finally give her owners a bit of good luck and something to smile about as they are such lovely people who deserve a change in fortune.
Tonight we have GO FORTH NORTH running and I think that she will run a really good race. She has been in really good form since her second at Lingfield and so fingers crossed she will go close tonight.
Tomorrow we have runners at Haydock (providing the rain arrives!) when ALLIED POWERS and MEZZANISI have good chances in the Old Newton Cup. They have been in really good form at home and it would be hard to call between the two of them although poor ALLIED POWERS is due to carry a lot of weight. Later on the card at the track we have GASSIN running and he also seems to have improved after his win at Nottingham. We are hopeful he will go close again here. At Leicester we could lose MOGGY who is running in the claimer . She is capable of winning races and she should certainly have the ability to win in claiming company, hopefully this will be her day! Our final runner is in the 9.20pm race at Nottingham where NIGHT KNIGHT hopes to make up for his disappointing effort at Newmarket. He has been working well since his race and certainly nothing has come to light to explain his run at the July Course. It maybe that he does not like running at Newmarket and enjoys the outing to the races, one thing is for sure he has an army of followers going to watch him run so we certainly hope he performs better here.
WEDNESDAY 1ST JULY
On Monday evening we had the one runner at Windsor in Jessica Hayllar. She travelled well early on but could not quicken with the leaders and is now qualified for nurseries which will hopefully help her chances in winning races.
On Tuesday HALFWAY HOUSE took us to the 21 winner mark when obliging at Brighton. He was given a typical Jamie Spencer ride and was settled out the back. When asked to go thankfully the gaps came for him and he was driven out well to the line and won nicely. Hopefully this will have given him a real boost and he can build on this now.
We have had no runners today, but tomorrow FOOLIN MYSELF run at Haydock and he should have a good chance providing the rain that is forecast arrives. He has been in good form at home and we are hopeful of a big run. At Yarmouth we introduce a really nice two-year-old called PROFESSOR JOHN. He has been working nicely at home but this looks as though it could be a hot little maiden.
Today the horses worked up the peat moss.
MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE AND ACT GREEN
MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE looked in good form ahead of her possible run in the group 1 Falmouth Stakes and she went nicely partnering ACT GREEN who also looked in terrific form.

BAKONGO AND MADAME ROULIN
BAKONGO and MADAME ROULIN did a nice easy piece of work on the peat moss coming back nicely together. These look to be two nice fillies who we like alot but may just need a bit more time.
SUMMERS LEASE
It was nice to see SUMMERS LEASE back and she worked well. She left us to be covered and thankfully is in foal to Exceed and Excel. The break seems to have done her the world of good and she went nicely.
ENJOYMENT, GO FORTH NORTH AND RED AMY
ENJOYMENT looks to have really started coming to herself and she went nicely with GO FORTH NORTH who looked in really good shape ahead of her run at Salisbury on Friday and RED AMY who is starting to blossom on the gallops.
AUNT NICOLA AND STEEL FREE
AUNT NICOLA is really starting to come to herself and looks as though she could go close next time. She worked nicely with STEEL FREE who runs on Friday and as long as the rain come she should have a decent chance.
GREAT CHARM AND ART CONNOISSEUR
GREAT CHARM looks in good form and is desperate for a run when the ground goes in his favour and he partnered ART CONNOISSEUR who looked really well in preparation for his run in the July Cup next week.
