ENTRIES FOR THIS YEARS SIX TO FOLLOW CAN BE FOUND CLICKING THIS LINK. WE DO HOPE YOU WILL JOIN IN!
FRIDAY 26TH FEBRUARY

ROYAL LIAISON
JUICY PEAR looks as though he may at this stage be declared to run on run on Monday although we have entered him again for Friday at Wolverhampton in a claiming race.

EMPRESS CHARLOTTE
We have also made entries for BURGHLEY on Wednesday at Kempton. He is a really nice horse who won his maiden in really good style and the form of the race has worked out really well. He is an exciting prospect we hope and it would be great to see him run again if he takes his chance. On Thursday we have entered BINTHERE DUNTHAT at Wolverhampton and hopefully this will be the right race for her to lose her maiden tag. She has ran really well on her last two starts finishing second both times and hopefully this is a race that she will be able to win.

BEDJAT
On Friday we have PASTEL BLUE entered at Lingfield in a seven furlong handicap and hopefully she will give a better account of herself from her previous run. She pulled very keen here and hopefully if we can get her to settle she will give a better effort. Also entered on Friday evening along with JUICY PEAR is AL DAFA who has been entered in the mile maiden. He is a nice horse, who was in training with Godolphin last year and came to us after two moderate efforts. he looks to have strengthened nicely over the winter and hopefully he can give us some good fortune this season. He will now run in the colous of Sheikh Marwan Al Maktoum so hopefully red is more his colour!

EL PRADO EX WARSAW GIRL
We are now starting to take entries for our Six to Follow which we run each year. The rules, list of horses and the entry forms can be found by clicking the link at the top of the page. We really hope that people will join in as it is great fun and the more entries we have the more money it is worth. We have had record entries each year and we have to beat 110 entries which is what we had last years total, giving the eventual winner Hayley Turner a first prize of £660.00.
TUESDAY 23RD FEBRUARY
Well I am now back from Devon and the clotted cream was delicious. I have certainly piled on the pounds and gained plenty of winter insulation which is good for the cold weather or at least that is my excuse.
COMMUNICATOR
Sadly we had no winners in my absence but we did have two runners who both ran well and finished second. On Thursday we declared JUICY PEAR for Kempton and he ran a good race for his first run back after his easier winter routine. He had every chance, but the winner got the first run on him and he kept on under pressure but always held by the winner. He should come on from the run and hopefully a win is on his agenda soon.

SET TO MUSIC
He has been entered again for Monday at Wolverhampton after taking the race well and he is a nice prospect for when the turf season starts.

IFRAAJ EX CONGRESSIONAL
On Friday we declared BINTHERE DUNTHAT at Wolverhampton and we had hoped she would come on from her second last time to score here. Again she looked as though she may have just found another good one to unfortunately come across on the all weather and both her and the eventual winner came clear of the rest of the field.
AMELIA'S SURPRISE
She is certain to win a race we just have to find the right race for her. She has taken the race well and could run again on the 4th March at Wolverhampton.

COMPASSION
Last week we had ONE LONDON arrive back to us from his winter break. As usual Jo Winter had done a fantastic job with him and he came in looking really well for his rest. He is a nice horse who we gave plenty of time to last year and hopefully this will pay dividends this year. Also arriving in on the same day from Jamie Magee's was KINGS FORTUNE. He is a complete gentleman and has taken everything in his stride since he has been here.

MISS VILLEFRANCHE
FRIDAY 12TH FEBRUARY
ALLIED POWERS, MOYENNE CORNICHE AND LOMBOK
I went up the gallops this morning to watch first lot, but it was such an awfully dull day that we could not take any pictures. I am quite lucky at the moment as Hannah, who works in the yard comes up with me whilst she is getting over breaking her wrist and elbow in January and we have a good gossip while we are watching the horses come up Warren Hill. We are both starting to study the horses for our Six to Follow which will start next month.

ORBITOR, LOCHAN MOR AND REGENERATION
We have today made entries for next week on Thursday and Friday. JUICY PEAR could make his first outing of the season at Kempton on Thursday evening in maiden auction over a mile. He showed some promise last year, getting over a nasty injury and looks to have wintered well. He has looked in good form in his canters and he will do a piece of work and a decision will then be made if he is to run or not.

HORSERADISH, JUICY PEAR AND CRUNCHED
On Friday we have entered BINTHERE DUNTHAT at Wolverhampton. She was unlucky last time running into a fairly decent contender on the all weather, but she looks to have taken the race well and hopefully this will be her day.

AL DAFA AND SUNNY GAME
The website will not be updated now for a week as I am taking my pedigree spaniels on their yearly holiday. We are going to Devon and will be back on Monday 22nd February about two stone heavier after all the cream teas,Yum Yum!

COLLECT ART AND MONT AGEL
WEDNESDAY 10TH FEBRUARY

SARISKA
Well sadly PASTEL BLUE failed to score again at Lingfield this afternoon and had to settle for fourth. She pulled far to hard early on and Hayley had to make the running with her as she could get no cover. She never really settled and when asked to make her effort she had nothing left to challenge with. Its a shame as she won making the running last time but it just was not her day today.

BABYCAKES AND MING MENG
The horses are still cantering and I have been lucky enough to get up and watch them twice so far this week. SARISKA looks in fantastic order and she has wintered so well. We have some really nice three-year-old colts and geldings and I watched them yesterday coming up the grass. COORDINATED CUT, STRONG VIGILANCE and WIGMORE HALL looked in terrific form which was just as well as Mr Inman who owns the first two of these came and watched them on the heath second lot. He was also joined by Lucy lawson who is the racing manager to Mr Mark Hawtin and they must have been pleased with the way the horses were moving and looked. Another Group catching the eye was ADMISSION, SOUL HEAVEN and ACTIVATE.

COORDINATED CUT, WIGMORE HALL AND STRONG VIGILANCE
Today we have had a new arrival from the Royal Studs in the shape of a very good looking filly by Cape Cross Ex Rachelle called UNIVERSE. She is owned by The Queen..

ADMISSION, SOUL HEAVEN AND ACTIVATE
MONDAY 8TH FEBRUARY

VERGLAS EX UP AND ABOUT
I think we were quite unlucky yesterday with BINTHERE DUNTHAT in that we found a race for her with quite a good horse in it. Our horse ran encouragingly and pulled clear of the remainder of the field. She showed ability and plenty of promise and hopefully will go close next time. She has taken the race well and we will have to now look to find another suitable race for her.

BURGHLEY
On Wednesday we have declared PASTEL BLUE to run at Lingfield. She looks to have taken her race well last time where she won in nice fashion. Hopefully she will be able to give a good account of herself in this seven runner field.

OLD MASTER EXPERT
The weather has changed again and it has got really cold. We had some snow today and although thankfully it has not settled it is due to freeze tonight which could make the morning quite interesting. Tomorrow looks like being a nice but cold day and then we have more snow later in the week. Hopefully it will not stop us getting the horses out as it would be a shame to have to keep them to the yard now they are back in the full swing of things.

GREEN DESERT EX STAR EXPRESS
FRIDAY 5TH FEBRUARY
Well we have declared BINTHERE DUNTHAT for Sunday at Southwell. She has six other horses to take on and at this stage her main danger looks as though it would be Just Mandy. Our filly is in great form and hopefully she will not need the race and will take the the beating.
RED AMY
We have also made an entry for PASTEL BLUE who is entered on Wednesday at Lingfield. She has taken her race well, where she won it in good fashion. Things will be much tougher for her now she has won her maiden. If she takes her chance hopefully she can keep her wining sequence going and keep showing improvement after her runs. She is a sweet little filly who is very game.
ENJOYMENT
Yesterday we lost AUNT NICOLA and ROYAL BET as both were sold at the February Sales. AUNT NICOLA has gone to Ireland to be a broodmare we believe and was purchased by Deer Farm Stud. She was a real sweetie and it is sad to see her go but hopefully she will have a lot of sucess in her new career and you never know we might end up training one of her off spring here one day. ROYAL BET was sold for £6,000 and heads for a new life aborad where hopefully he will enjoy the warmer climate.
MISS CHAUMIERE
As AUNT NICOLA was going through the sales ring , it was a good opportunity for one of her owners Mr Malcolm Caine to call in and see his new VERGLAS EX UP AND ABOUT filly on the heath. She is a cracking looking horse and hopefully she will be s good replacement for AUNT NICOLA.

MING MENG
WEDNESDAY 3RD FEBRUARY
HYPNOTIZED
BINTHERE DUNTHAT did a piece of work this morning with PASTEL BLUE in preperation of her run at Southwell on Sunday and everything went well so at this stage she looks as though she will definitely be taking her chance.
CHURCH OF ENGLAND
Hayley came in to ride her work and she seemed pleased enough with the way she had gone and will now ride her if she does run on Sunday. PASTEL BLUE looks to have come on for the run and although quite keen early on, she went nicely.
TITIVATION
It was a bitterly cold this morning and although we had a slight frost it was not enough to get into the ground and this enabled us to bring the horses up the grass. I went out first lot and my new camera was proving to be a disaster and the pictures we all fuzzy which was really anoying after making the effort to go up on the heath. Thankfully I sort the advice during breakfast of Lenny Anderton who works for Godolphin and is a camera genius and he sorted the problem out for me and I was able to get some fairly decent pictures second lot. Hopefully as I get used to the camera the pictures will get better.
BOUNCY BOUNCY
Tomorrow we are delighted to be getting ACTIVATE back in after his winter break. He is a nice horse and will hopefully be capable of winning races this year having strengthened over the winter. He is still yet to win his maiden but showed plenty of signs of encouragement at Brighton on his last run of the season finishing second. He could be one on my shortlist for this years Six to Follow.

MAIN SPRING
MONDAY 1ST FEBRUARY

BINTHERE DUNTHAT
The horses started cantering today after having a month trotting and everything went very smoothly. it was great to see the horses back in action, but it was so cold.
TITIVATION
We have today made an entry for BINTHERE DUNTHAT at Southwell on Sunday. She was a nice filly last season who was plagued with niggley little problems. She seems to have put them behind her now and as long as the race is suitable she could take her chance.

HIGHLAND LEGACY
On Friday ROYAL BET did not run as well as we probably had hoped and he will now head for the February Sales where hopefully he will catch someone's eye. Hayley did not manage to get to the races in time so he was ridden by Paul Hanagan. He had him racing in front for the first part of the race and when asked to go he was headed with about two furlongs left to run and could find no extra inside final furlong. Its a great shame that we did not manage to get a win out of him but he was quite a difficult horses to assess on his ability.
REGENERATION
FRIDAY 29TH JANUARY
We have ROYAL BET running this evening at Wolverhampton where he should have a good chance. He has been great form at home and this is his last chance to win for us before he takes up the engagement in the February Sales next Thursday at Tattersalls. He is capable of winning races and should have a good chance in this particular grade.
Also heading to the February Sales Thursday is AUNT NICOLA. She is a real sweet filly who has some good form and earned herself some black type as a two-year-old. She will make a nice broodmare and hopefully someone will take a liking to her at the sales and she will fetch a good price.
The horses start cantering on Monday and weather permitting hopefully we will be able to get some pictures of them. It is great to get January out of the way and now things start to pick up here again with the start of the season only about seven weeks away.
