RESULTS UP TO AND INCLUDING THURSDAY 25TH JUNE

WEDNESDAY 1ST JULY

On Monday evening we had the one runner at Windsor in Jessica Hayllar. She travelled well early on but could not quicken with the leaders and is now qualified for nurseries which will hopefully help her chances in winning races.

On Tuesday HALFWAY HOUSE took us to the 21 winner mark when obliging at Brighton. He was given a typical Jamie Spencer ride and was settled out the back. When asked to go thankfully the gaps came for him and he was driven out well to the line and won nicely. Hopefully this will have given him a real boost and he can build on this now.

We have had no runners today, but tomorrow FOOLIN MYSELF run at Haydock and he should have a good chance providing the rain that is forecast arrives. He has been in good form at home and we are hopeful of a big run. At Yarmouth we introduce a really nice two-year-old called PROFESSOR JOHN. He has been working nicely at home but this looks as though it could be a hot little maiden.

Today the horses worked up the peat moss.

MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE AND ACT GREEN

MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE looked in good form ahead of her possible run in the group 1 Falmouth Stakes and she went nicely partnering ACT GREEN who also looked in terrific form.

BAKONGO AND MADAME ROULIN

BAKONGO and MADAME ROULIN did a nice easy piece of work on the peat moss coming back nicely together. These look to be two nice fillies who we like alot but may just need a bit more time.

SUMMERS LEASE

It was nice to see SUMMERS LEASE back and she worked well. She left us to be covered and thankfully is in foal to Exceed and Excel. The break seems to have done her the world of good and she went nicely.

ENJOYMENT, GO FORTH NORTH AND RED AMY

ENJOYMENT looks to have really started coming to herself and she went nicely with GO FORTH NORTH who looked in really good shape ahead of her run at Salisbury on Friday and RED AMY who is starting to blossom on the gallops.

AUNT NICOLA AND STEEL FREE

AUNT NICOLA is really starting to come to herself and looks as though she could go close next time. She worked nicely with STEEL FREE who runs on Friday and as long as the rain come she should have a decent chance.

GREAT CHARM AND ART CONNOISSEUR

GREAT CHARM looks in good form and is desperate for a run when the ground goes in his favour and he partnered ART CONNOISSEUR who looked really well in preparation for his run in the July Cup next week.

MONDAY 29TH JUNE

We were delighted with how well L'ENCHANTERESSE ran on Friday. She looks as though she could be a nice filly. She raced quite green early on in the race and when the penny dropped with her she stayed on really well to get beaten by such a narrow margin. The race has been quite lucky for us as last year, DOVE MEWS won it which again was a big surprise.

On Saturday we had no luck in running with poor THE BETCHWORTH KID. He was settled quite far back through the early stages of the race and once in the straight, he faced an impossible task and would certainly have finished much closer with a clearer run. It was a great shame as he had been in fantastic form and he is certainly due another big race win. We did however do much better at Chester when BRAE HILL got back to winning ways. He got the run of the race just settled off the leaders and travelled really well into the home straight. When asked to quicken the response was immediate and he won well. The step up in trip was definitely to his liking and hopefully he can come on from this and should win again.

We have just the one runner today when JESSICA HAYLLAR runs at Windsor. She pulled quite hard on her last start and so it is thought that the drop back to five furlongs should suit her. Hopefully she will be able to provide Malin Holmberg with her first ever career winner.

Tomorrow we have just the one runner at Brighton where we are hopeful of a good run from HALFWAY HOUSE. He has been in good form at home and we are hopeful that he will be able to show the ability that we think he possesses in this type of company.

We had a lovely barbecue at the yard yesterday which had been organized for all the staff by Lady Bamford after SARISKA won the Oaks. It really was amazingly kind and generous of her and everyone had a fantastic day.

On Saturday I went up on the gallops as SARISKA was doing her first piece of work since her race. It was a really horrible day with really gloomy weather after the storm we had on Friday afternoon. It did enable the horses to work up the peat moss though which was good.

BAHAMIAN BABE

BAHAMIAN BABE was in good form and she possibly heads for a listed race at Chester next.

FARMER GILES, ACTIVATE AND PROFESSOR JOHN

FARMER GILES worked really well of this group and he was joined when approaching the rising ground by ACTIVATE and PROFESSOR JOHN who both worked encouragingly to. PROFESSOR JOHN is due to run at Yarmouth on Thursday.

RED AMY, SHARP AND CHIC AND GO FORTH NORTH

GO FORTH NORTH looks as though she has really come on from her run and I was impressed with the way she worked with these other two filles. Hayley rode RED AMY who is starting to come to herself as is SHARP AND CHIC.

FOOLIN MYSELF AND MOYENNE CORNICHE

FOOLIN MYSELF worked well and he is due to go to Haydock on Thursday where hopefully he will have a change of fortune. MOYENNE CORNICHE looks to have taken his race in France well but we will now have to wait with him until we get a break in the weather as the ground is key with him.

CAUGHT ON CAMERA AND SARISKA

SARISKA worked really well and looked fantastic striding out up the peat moss. CAUGHT ON CAMERA looked in good form and she has been entered on Sunday at Brighton.

REDFORD

REDFORD looks to have taken his race at Ascot well and he went nicely on his own.

ADVISOR

ADVISOR was another doing a piece on his own and he looks to be in good form with himself.

GASSIN AND ACT GREEN

GASSIN looks to have really come on from his run and he has numerous entries coming up. He worked well with ACT GREEN who again is another that looks in good form and is not far off a run.

FALBRAV EX ALWAYS ON MY MIND, BUBSES BOY AND NIGHT KNIGHT

The still unammed filly by FALBRAV EX ALWAYS ON MY MIND looks to go quite nicely and she worked encouragingly well for such a big filly. BUBSES BOY again worked nicely hopefully his day will soon come and NIGHT KNIGHT worked well after a disappointing effort at Newmarket we are hoping he can put things right at Nottingham if he runs.

FRIDAY 26TH JUNE

On Wednesday we only had the one runner when PASTEL BLUE headed to Kempton. I had real hopes for a big run from her despite the bad draw. She made a good deal of late headway from a long way back and then found her path blocked entering the straight. She is a very nice filly and certainly deserves to be breaking her maiden tag shortly.

Yesterday we had declared STEEL FREE to run but she was found to be heavily in season on Wednesday night and so she certainly could not run in this condition. She seems much better now and has been entered again next week.

We have one runner tonight LENCHANTERESSE who runs at Newmarket. She has been working well at home although still and little bit green in her work, she should run a good introductory race.

Tomorrow we have one runner in the Northumberland Plate and this is THE BETCHWORTH KID who headed up to Newcastle this morning. He looked really good in his work on Wednesday and has been in good form at home. He has certainly clocked up some miles travelling this year with two trips to Ireland and now Newcastle he is certainly, so far our best travelled horse. Also running at Chester is BRAE HILL who has been in good form since his run at Newmarket. He was tried over six furlongs then and he has been upped in trip here running over seven furlongs.Hopefully with the step up in trip and if he handles the tight turning track at Chester he will show the ability he that we know he possesses.

WEDNESDAY 24TH JUNE

Things have completely quietened down this week and we are enjoying the sunshine and watching Wimbledon although sadly without Rafael Nadal playing things have not been quite so good.

We had no runners on Monday but yesterday we were really pleased when LADY ARTEMISIA won at Newbury. She was beaten when odds on at Newcastle last time by a decent filly called Charity Belle of John Gosdens who has since finished fourth in a listed race. She seemed happier over the extra distance here and was fully in control from a furlong out. Eddie Ahern who rode her, felt she had improved mentally and physically since he last rode her first time out at Windsor and we feel she is the type to progress further in handicaps. It was a real delight for us to provide Mr & Mrs Moretti with a winner as it is the first horse along with SOFONISBA that they have had with us and having been so close on her last two occasions it was great for her to finally get her head in font as they are such lovely owners.

Today the horses worked on the water gallop.

SYRIAN, PROMPTER AND SOUL HEAVEN

The first group to work consisted of the nice two-year-old SYRIAN who worked really well under Hayley Turner with PROMPTER and SOUL HEAVEN who was sat in behind. He missed the listed race at Royal Ascot and will head for a maiden sooner rather than later.

CRUNCHED AND DR FINLEY

CRUNCHED  and DR FINLEY look as though they are heading in the right direction and they worked nicely together coming back a straight six furlongs.

L'ENCHANTERESSE AND RED AMY

L'ENCHANTERESSE worked really well and when she passed me she blocked poor old RED AMY out of the picture. L'ENCHANTERESSE runs on friday down here at Newmarket and she should run well. RED AMY seems to be improving with her work and hopefully is not far from a run.

HIGHLAND LEGACY AND MOYENNE CORNICHE

It is really great to see HIGHLAND LEGACY back to his best and he worked really well partnering MOYENNE CORNICHE in his work over eight furlongs. He has been left in the Northumberland Plate at the weekend but it looks as though the ground is going to be firm which will stop him from taking his chance.

GASSIN AND ACT GREEN

GASSIN looks to be in good order after his win at Nottingham and he worked well with ACT GREEN who after two consistent efforts certainly deserves to win a race soon. She looked in good order and both moved well on the watered ground.

FALBRAV EX ALWAYS ON MY MIND AND CAUGHT ON CAMERA

The FALBRAV EX ALWAYS ON MY MIND who is an unnamed three-year-old filly and a half sister to Halfway to paradise who we used to train was doing her first piece of work on the gallops after having a spell and Eugene Stamford's Lemberg Stables which we use as a pre training yard. She came in looking really well and she looked to go nicely working well with CAUGHT ON CAMERA who looks about ready for another run.

THE BETCHWORTH KID

The last horse to work was THE BETCHWORTH KID who did a nice easy piece of work on his own ahead of his run at Newcastle on Saturday in the Northumberland Plate. He looked in fantastic form and hopefully our best traveled horse, who has been to Ireland twice this year will run a nice race.

MONDAY 22ND JUNE

REDFORD was our only runner at Ascot on Friday and he ran fantastically well on ground that would have been to firm for him to finish third. He was dropped in from the start and was absolutely cruising with two furlongs left to run. He could not quicken when asked for his effort but stayed on to just get third. On soft ground he has a touch of class but he looked reluctant to fully let himself down on the fast going. We know he is capable of winning big races and we will see the best of him on the ground that he likes.  In the evening at Goodwood,we had EDDIE BOY who ran disspointingly. We thought he had a lot of promise but we have yet to see him to his best ability yet. JESSICA HAYLLAR was our only other runner at the track and she took a keen hold early on in her race and finished fourth. She is well capable of breaking her maiden which hopefully she will do sooner rather than later. NIGHT KNIGHT was another who failed to put his best foot forward and I am sure he will be seen to better effect next time.

Saturday was another fantastic day for all of us at Fitzroy House when ART CONNOISSEUR won the Group 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. We thought he would run really well, but I know, I was more hopeful than anything else. I am not sure what the boss thought. I went out of the room whilst the race was being run at home and I could not believe what I was hearing, that I had to rewind the sky plus and watch it again. It was magnificent to see him back to his best and when he passed the line with one ear back and one ear pricked he looked so cute. What was so good was the fashion in which he did it. He seemed to have been written off after running badly in his final race in Ireland last season where he injured himself and he clearly did not stay in the Free Handicap. It was a great shame that Jamie was banned as he told us that he was a six furlong horse after the race at Newmarket in April but it was really nice to give Tom Queally a winner after SARISKA beating him and Midday in the Oaks. A big well done has to be said to Rebecca Caudillo who rides him out at home and adores him. Also for Tom Hemsley who looks after him and is real good lad, who does his horses well and is a lovely person. Also on Saturday it was our travelling head girl Gilly Dolman's Birthday so at least she can always say she travelled a group one winner on her 40th. The boss again was really kind and paid for us all to go down to the local pub for a drink.

Sadly BAHMAIN BABE did not have much luck at Newmarket where she got slightly left at the start and was always then towards the rear. She looked fantastic before the race and I am sure she will be winning again shortly. Also on Saturday we ran a nice two-year-old filly called GO FORTH NORTH who was making her racecourse debut. She is a tall and lengthy filly and was slowly into her stride. She raced slightly green but once sent about her task knuckled done well enough doing her best work towards the finish to snatch third. It was an encouraging debut and she should improve from the run.

It looks as though we may have a quiet week with only one runner tomorrow in LADY ARTEMISIA who is due a win. She is a very nice filly but I cannot help feeling more confident about her chance if we had some rain. On Wednesday we run the nice filly PASTEL BLUE at Kempton and I think as long as she does not mind the surface she should have a good chance although she is drawn badly. Her form is working out quite well as the horse that beat her at Lingfield was third at Royal Ascot in the group 3 Albany Stakes .

FRIDAY 19TH JUNE

What a fantastic result for us on Wednesday evening when MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE won the last at Royal Ascot. It was such a fantastic result and was great for all her owners involved, as they are all racing people. She was settled nicely out the back and when asked to go she had a lovely passage through and came to collar the eventual second inside the final furlong. She has possible entries coming up now in France, America and at Newmarket and we will see what the best possible option for her is. She has taken the race well and looks in great form.

Yesterday we looked at one stage of having an Ascot double but sadly SECRET SOCIETY was just caught on the line by a horse of Ed Dunlop's. Our horse was always travelling well but sadly could not just hang on. It was a fantastic effort from him and we were delighted with his performance. Later on  in the day we had FOUR WINDS running and he looked fantastic beforehand but sadly could only manage fifth place. Jamie felt that he does not stay and he will be dropped back to a mile next time. We are sure he has a big win in him so hopefully we will be proved right. In the evening we had one runner at Leicester when GARTER KNIGHT took part in the seller at the track. He ran a good race to finish second after a two-month absence and he saw out this longer trip well. He looks capable of winning a race and hopefully he will do so before he heads for the July Sales.

Today we have REDFORD running at the Royal meeting and I hope he will

not find the drying ground an inconvenience. Also today we have EDDIE BOY and JESSICA HAYLLAR running at Goodwood and NIGHT KNIGHT running at Newmarket.

Tomorrow I really hope ART CONNOISSEUR will give a good account of himself at Ascot in the Golden Jubilee. He was such a good little horse last season and it would be great to see him recapture this form again as he certainly possesses the ability. Also we are introducing a really nice filly to the track at Lingfield in the shape of GO FORTH NORTH who has been pleasing in her work at home. We are hopeful of a big run from her. BAHAMIAN BABE heads to Newmarket where hopefully she will keep her recent run of good form going. She is being ridden by a seven pound claimer so at least she is having some weight taken off her back.

WEDNESDAY 17TH JUNE

Ascot starts today for us when we have our first runner at the meeting. On her form MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE should have a really good chance in the listed Sandringham Handicap. She is our only runner today and then tomorrow we have chances with FOUR WINDS who should run well in the Hampton Court Stakes and SECRET SOCIETY who runs in the Britannia Handicap. Also tomorrow we have a good chance in the selling race at Leicester where GARTER KNIGHT heads but he will not want the ground to dry out to much.

We have had the odd runner this week and BUBSES BOY was the first of these as he headed off to Windsor on Monday. He took keen hold and was kept prominent early on in the race. He raced wide in the straight and lost his place two furlongs out. He was then eased when he had no chance inside the final furlong. It was a shame that is did not get more luck in running as he has been in good form at home and should be winning races!

Yesterday, we just had the one runner at Thirsk which was ACT GREEN. She was held up in rear of the field and was switched to the outside two furlongs out and was ridden to chase winner. She hung left inside final furlong, but kept on well towards finish.

Today the horses worked on the Back of the Flat gallop.

STEEL FREE AND MISS EZE

The first group to work consisted of STEEL FREE and MISS EZE who both have entries coming up. These two fillies worked nicely together and as long as the ground is suitable will run shortly.

SYRIAN AND PROFESSOR JOHN

In the following group we had two nice two-year-olds working in PROFESSOR JOHN who is being slightly hidden by SYRIAN in the picture. SYRIAN was a possible contender at Royal Ascot and he worked well but a decision was made, rather than head straight for a listed race to try a win a maiden with him first. They both look as though they are nice horses ready to do themselves justice.

GREAT CHARM AND ART CONNOISSEUR

It was great to see ART CONNOISSEUR under his usual work rider, Rebecca Caudillo working well and he could possibly head for the Golden Jubilee at Ascot on Saturday, but it looks as though it will be a tough race especially if the Australian horse Scenic Blast runs again after his victory today. GREAT CHARM had to swerve Doncaster due to the drying ground and he also looks ready for another providing he gets his ground.

MISS WHIPPY AND SHARP AND CHIC

MISS WHIPPY who was watched by her owner Mr Dale Payne went nicely with SHARP AND CHIC. They are both sweet little fillies that are coming along nicely but MISS WHIPPY has the annoying habit of thinking she is a helicopter and swishes her tail round whilst she is working. They both look as though they could be ready for runs sooner rather than later.

GO FORTH NORTH, BABYCAKES AND RED AMY

Hayley Turner rode GO FORTH NORTH in her last piece of work before possibly running at the weekend at Lingfield She worked well and looks to have ability. She worked with BABYCAKES who is another that is heading the right way and RED AMY who settled in nicely behind these two.

ALLIED POWERS, HIGHLAND LEGACY AND THE BETCHWORTH KID

Jamie Spencer rode HIGHLAND LEGACY and it was great to see his big white face up the gallops again. He went really well with ALLIED POWERS and THE BETCHWORTH KID who are both fit and well and in really good form. It was really pleasing to see this bunch of our quality older horses working.

CAUGHT ON CAMERA AND EDDIE BOY

The last group to work were CAUGHT ON CAMERA and EDDIE BOY. EDDIE BOY heads of to GOODWOOD where we are hoping he cane make up for his disappointing effort last time. CAUGHT ON CAMERA looks as though she has come on from the run and hopefully she will give a better account of herself when she next hits the track.

MONDAY 15TH JUNE

It has been quite a busy weekend at Fitzroy this weekend with various runners at different meetings. On Friday night we had two runners at Goodwood and the first of these to run was ADVISOR. He was being stepped up in trip and he was given quite a positive ride being taken to the front in a race without much pace. He lost the lead and tracked the eventual winner with three furlongs to run, but could not go with him when he quickened again. On this evidence it might be that he was not suited by the step up in trip and we will see how he is before making further plans. AUNT NICOLA tracked leaders to halfway, but was soon struggling and was eased well over furlong out. Jamie felt that she was never moving well throughout the race which is quite odd. We will monitor her over the next few days to see how she is.

On Saturday it was so great to see the tough little filly BAHAMIAN BABE win again for this season. Down to a mark of 87, she was kept up with the speed and kept finding more under strong pressure, just nosing ahead in the final strides. She will go back up the weights now, but should hopefully be capable of winning again. Earlier in the day we had seen a frustrating run from FOOLIN MYSELF who was kept towards the rear. He was making headway four furlongs from home when hampered and lost his chance.

On Sunday we were left with just two runners after the withdrawal of GREAT CHARM due to the ground drying up so much and this left us with just MOGGY at Doncaster. She chased the leaders and weakened over one furlong out. She looked as though she may have just got tired as she certainly would have needed the run. In Chantilly we had finally managed to get a run with MOYENNE CORNICHE after bypassing so many races due to the drying ground. He was always kept in touch on the rail in about fourth place and was driven over two furlongs. He stayed on the one pace to finish sixth. He desperately needed the run and will come on alot from this

Tonight we have declared BUBSES BOY at Windsor and we are hoping that they will receive the rain that is forecast to help his chances. He has been in good form at home so we expect a good account from him.

Tomorrow we just have ACT GREEN running and she to will benefit from the forecast rain that is about . She has been improving all the time and it should not be to long before she is back in winning ways.

Wednesday we have declared MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE who has been a real revelation this season. She comes into the race having won a listed contest at Goodwood and hopefully she can again do her stud value good by running well in the Sadringham Handicap which is the listed race, which we won with RED EVIE. Also on Wednesday we have DOVE MEWS who is another who chances will be helped by some rain and FARMER GILES running at Ripon. it would be great to see FARMER GILES break his maiden tag as he certainly deserves to win a maiden with the consistent effort he has been showing on the track.

FRIDAY 12TH JUNE

On Wednesday we had just the one runner at Kempton in LOCHAN MOR who again run a really good race giving another good consistent effort of himself. He soon led and was ridden when he edged left from inside final two furlongs. He was headed inside final furlong and rallied and kept on again near finish to claim joint second place. He made life difficult for himself by hanging. He has a likeable attitude and so hopefully we will be able to found a similar opportunity for him to get his head back in front.

Yesterday at Nottingham we had three runners and one of these did produce a win which was great but it was not to one we expected. The first runner of the day was BETONY who did not behave herself in the stalls and had to be withdrawn. It was a great shame for Malin Holmberg who was having her first ride of the season and sadly had to miss out due to this. GASSIN was extremely lucky in his race after the favorite was another who could not behave in the stalls and was withdrawn leaving our horse with a really good chance. He was always kept up with the pace remaining in second place for most of the race. When asked to go, he went nicely and although in front for a long time he plugged away winning cosily. It was great that he won as his owner Mr Pearce had just arrived in England for the summer from Hong Kong. Our last runner was PIQUANTE who run a peculiar race. She was settled towards the rear and Jamie had to keep niggling along to keep her up with the pace. She came with a right finish at the end to get fourth place from right out the back. It was a bizarre run from a filly that showed a lot of promise on her debut run of the season and should certainly be winning races.

We have two runners this evening at Goodwood and both have good chances. ADVISOR should give a good account of himself here as he has been working well at home. Hopefully the ground will be to his liking to do himself justice at the track this evening. AUNT NICOLA is another who ran well on her first run of the season and then disappointed at Ripon last time. She should hopefully go much better here as she has been working well on the gallops in Newmarket.

Tomorrow FOOLIN MYSELF hopes to make up for his Epsom run where he lost his action and came in towards the rear of the field. He maybe did not handle the track but I think he will go much better at York on a track and ground that should be very much to his liking. BAHAMIAN BABE will also be much more at home is a smaller field as she takes her chance at Leicester in the five furlong handicap. She should have a really good chance on her form and finger crossed she will get back on to winning ways as she is such a sweet, kind little filly who tries her heart out.

On Sunday we have two runners at Doncaster in GREAT CHARM who I am sure will be seen to much better effect on under foot conditions which he relishes. he has been working well at home and I am sure he can regain the form he showed last season. Also at the track we run MOGGY who is a quirky little filly and will probably need the run as it is her first outing of the season. She is quite difficult at home and has been helped by having the patience of Martina Hallenheim who has been riding her out. She has this weird habit of not wanting to go back in her box after being out on exercise and Martina is very patient with her and eventually get her back in. I hope she will give a good show as I really like her as she is a pretty little thing. Also on Sunday we head to Chantilly with MOYENNE CORNICHE who runs in the group 3 Prix du Chemin de Fer du Nord. it is greta to see this horse finally hit the track after missing so many engagements due to the ground drying up everywhere when we wanted to run him. He certainly possess ability and hopefully he will show this to good effect here on French Oaks day. He will be ridden by champion French jockey Ioritz Mendizabel

WEDNESDAY 10TH JUNE

We have had a fairly quiet week this week with our only runner so far being JESSICA HAYLLAR who run on Monday night at Windsor. She ran a nice introductory race. She chased the near side leaders and then looked to have got tired and faded away to finish ninth. She had a good blow after the race and we are hopeful she will come on alot. Neil Callan who rode her was very complimentary and feels she will give a much better account of herself next time.

Tonight we have LOCHAN MOR running at Kempton and we are hoping for another good run to keep up his good efforts so far. He has not got the best of draws but he looks fantastically well and has been putting in some nice efforts in his home work.

Tomorrow we have three runners at Nottingham with the best chance of these being PIQUANTE. She is stepped back up in trip here and on her form she should give a really decent effort. We also have GASSIN running who has had a few minor problems but is starting to come to himself now and BETONY who hopefully will give a better show of herself on the turf after running quite green in a race on the all weather on her first career outing.

Today was a really frustrating morning as I was told by the boss that the horses were working on the gallop by the racecourse but this then got changed and no one bothered to let me know and when I finally realised what had happened I had to run (which is certainly not a good move for me!) to the otherside of the heath so sadly I missed two groups working and the pictures have not come out that well as it is hard to hold a camera still while you are blowing your head off.

GREAT CHARM AND ART CONNOISSEUR

The first group I did get was GREAT CHARM and ART CONNOISSEUR who looked in fantastic form after his time swimming. They worked over the straight six furlongs and bot looked to be moving really well on the easier ground.

STEEL FREE, AUNT NICOLA AND DOVE MEWS

STEEL FREE looks in good order again and is entered at Salisbury on Sunday where she could run as long as they get some rain. She was joined by AUNT NICOLA who has been declared for Friday night at Goodwood and she looked as though she was moving well upsides DOVE MEWS who looked really at home on the more suitable ground.

REDFORD AND MOYENNE CORNICHE

REDFORD looked in good form here leading MOYENNE CORNICHE over the straight seven. REDFORD has a number of possible entries coming up whilst MOYENNE CORNICHE looks like heading to Chantilly where he will be ridden by French champion jockey Ioritz Mendizabal. It will be great to see this horse finally get a run after missing so many engagements due to the ground.

ALLIED POWERS AND THE BETCHWORTH KID

These two horses looked in great form coming back nine furlongs and ALLIED POWERS gave a good lead to THE BETCHWORTH KID who joined him well approaching the rising ground.

EDDIE BOY AND GARTER KNIGHT

EDDIE BOY worked well here and although he has no immediate plans he looks ready to hit the track. He was joined by GARTER KNIGHT who has been entered in the July Sales and hopefully we will be able to get a good run out of him before he fulfils this engagement.

CAUGHT ON CAMERA AND MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE

MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE worked really well in front of two of her owners Mr & Mrs Wright who had come to watch her work ahead of her possible partcipation at Royal Ascot and she went with CAUGHT ON CAMERA who looked as though she needed the run last time at Lingfield. Both look in good form and MONEYCANTBUYMELOVE has been a real star this season. Hopefully they will do themselves justice in their next intended targets.

MONDAY 8TH JUNE

SARISKA seems to be fine after her race and looks in great form this morning whilst she was having a pick of grass. She had a visit today from her owner Lady Bamford who came down with her daughter Alice to see how she was doing.

SARISKA

We had two runners at Lingfield on Saturday in CAUGHT ON CAMERA and PASTEL BLUE. CAUGHT ON CAMERA was kept in Mid-division and dropped to rear final three furlongs from home. She had a really good blow after her race having been of the track for a long time, so hopefully it is just a case of her needing the run. PASTEL BLUE ran an encouraging race and I have to say I really do like this filly. She raced quite keen early on which was just greeness and weakened inside the final furlong. The winner of this race is heading to Royal Ascot and so it could turn out to be decent race.

THE FITZROY TEAM WITH SARISKA

Tonight we have the just the one runner at Windsor in JESSICA HAYLLAR who we purchased at the Craven Breeze Ups. She has been putting in some good efforts at home and so we are expecting a good display from her. Hopefully she will not run to green to do herself justice.

FRIDAY 5TH JUNE

What an amazing day.

Our filly proved what a complete star she is by winning the Oaks in the tightest of finishes. It was really good effort and put the smiles back on the lads faces after the disappointing effort from FOOLIN MYSELF. SARISKA took all the preliminaries really well and with two furlongs to go she looked like she was going to bolt up, but she was given a real race by Midday and thankfully managed to get back up. It was a great ride by Jamie Spencer and real great team effort from everyone at Fitzroy and it makes it all worth while when you have days like this. The lads are going to celebrate down the pub this evening which is being funded by M. Bell so hopefully we will not have to many people with sore heads tomorrow.

We are back to the action tomorrow with runners at Lingfield when CAUGHT ON CAMERA make her seasonal debut. She has not been given much help by the handicapper who has given her a higher mark than we thought she may have deserved. Her work has been improving at home so hopefully she will transfer this to the track. PASTEL BLUE is a really nice two-year-old filly who has impressed me in her work. She has been going reall well at home so I hope she will run a big race.

WEDNESDAY 3RD JUNE

We have today declared SARISKA for the Oaks and so thankfully all the worrying is now over. I cannot tell you how many times I have checked the declaration and got Helen to check it as well. I really hope that Epsom will now get some rain as this will boost our chances in what will be a strong field. Our filly is in good form and is looks to have taken her work well yesterday. We have also declared FOOLIN MYSELF at the meeting who will also need at least good ground to enhance his chances. He worked nicely this morning on the gallops and the weights have got up enough for Jamie Spencer to be able to ride him comfortably without wasting.

Today the horses worked up the water gallop.

FOOLIN MYSELF AND MOYENNE CORNICHE

FOOLIN MYSELF worked in partnership with MOYENNE CORNICHE who was wearing a visor for the first time. As mentioned FOOLIN MYSELF has been declared to run at Epsom on Friday and MOYENNE also had a entry at the track but sadly it will not be soft enough for him to take his chance. It is getting quite frustrating, for as soon as you have found a race for him the ground has dried up and the racecourses have firm ground.

L'ENCHANTERESSE, MADAME ROULIN AND GO FORTH NORTH

These three fillies worked nicely together and MADAME ROULIN put in a good effort under Hayley Turner which was good as two of her owner Mr Boughey and Mr Wiggin had come and watched her. L'ENCHANTERESSE is really starting to get the hang of things and she worked a lot better than when I last saw her. GO FORTH NORTH is a filly who seems to have really grown a lot of late. She sat in nicely behind these two fillies and looks as though she will hopefully not be far from a run.

RED AMY AND SHARP AND CHIC

RED AMY looks like she has the makings of a nice filly as she worked really well with SHARP AND CHIC who was making her debut on the water gallop. SHARP AND CHIC is a tough little filly and although still quite green she worked encouragingly.

JESSICA HAYLLAR, APSTEL BLUE AND BABYCAKES

PASTEL BLUE has impressed me the last two times that I have watched her work. She went really well today and is not far of a run. JESSICA HAYLLAR who has entries this week is certainly improving all the time and will run when we can find the right race for her. BABYCAKES who was ridden by Jamie Spencer is an adorable filly who has plenty of ability we feel and she worked well with this filly.

PROFESSOR JOHN AND GREEK KEY

PROFESSOR JOHN worked well with GREEK KEY. PROFESSOR JOHN has numerous entries coming up, it is just a matter of finding the right race for him. GREEK KEY is coming along nicely and is not far from having entries penciled in for him.

MONDAY 1ST JUNE

Well flaming June has arrived and it certainly has been a real scorcher today. We have had a relatively quiet weekend this weekend with only two runners, one at York and one at Lingfield. BAHAMIAN BABE was our runner at York and she showed good early speed before fading. She is need of some relief from the handicapper which hopefully she will now get. She appears to have taken the race well and we will see how she is over the next couple of days before making further plans. BUBSES BY was slightly disappointing at Lingfield. He was held up in last quartet in a slowly run race. He made some progress into midfield over two furlongs from home and stayed on from over furlong out. He is a horse that should be winning races and we will probably try him on the turf next time. It maybe that he will stay further in which case he may also be stepped up in trip although he was quite disappointing over one mile three furlongs at Southwell last time.

Today we have runners at Windsor where EDDIE BOY should give a good account of himself. He is a nice horse who we thought would be quite decent, but he looked really lazy on his last start when he was third and although not sparkling on the gallops at home we know he has ability which hopefully he will use. SECRET SOCIETY should be seen to better effect this evening after his Newmarket race where he finished fourth and just seemed to fade inside the final furlong. That was over a mile and he is dropped back to seven which we think will suit him better. I am sure he has a good solid chance.

We have no runners tomorrow, but on Wednesday we have declared ACT GREEN and LOMBOK to run at Nottingham. ACTGREEN has been dropped back to a mile and as long as the ground is suitable she should have a good chance. LOMBOK is being stepped up to a mile and six furlongs and hopefully he will be suited by this step up in trip.

FRIDAY 29TH MAY

Poor old THE BETCHWORTH KID not only had a terrible journey to Ireland he could only manage fifth in his race. He was always kept off the pace and got shuffled back when turning into the home straight. He ran on towards the end of the race but the winner who had made all had already been sent home to win his race. Its another good run from our horse but he does need some relief from the handicapper as he is being punished for his consistent efforts. LADY ARTEMISIA was a hot favourite at Newcastle, but she ran in to a John Gosden hot pot and had to settle for second. The winner got first run on her and she was always trying to peg the winner back to no avail. The winner looks a really nice horse and could go on to be a bit special. The first two came along way from the others and on softer ground I am sure our filly would have been much closer to the winner. GREAT CHARM sadly could not cope with the fast ground and he will definitely be seen to better effect when he gets his favoured soft ground. At Sandown it was nice to see ALLIED POWERS run well in group company and although his finishing position would not flatter him it was a blanket finish and we know our horse would have been much closer had the ground been much softer.

Today we have seen LOCHAN MOR win at Yarmouth. It was a good effort from our horse, who had shown a lot of potential on his first run at Doncaster. It was good to see him win as he was bred by his owner Mr Andrew Buxton and it must be great reward for him after being so patient with the horse last season. The key to him is definitely the easier ground and hopefully he can develop into a nice three-year-old.

Tonight we have just RED ZOE running after the withdrawal of STEEL FREE ay Haydock. RED ZOE run well on her first start at Windsor and hopefully she can show another improved effort this evening.

Tomorrow we have runners at York, where hopefully BAHAMIAN BABE can build on her encouraging run at Bath last time. She will be ridden by a good seven pound claimer called Matthew Lawson so hopefully with such a light weight on her back she will fly along. Also tomorrow we have BUBSES BOY running at Lingfield in the evening. He has been in good form at home since his last run and hopefully he can give a good account of himself here.
