It was great to have some action again this week when STRONG VIGILANCE took his chance at Lingfield. He raced prominently early on and was asked for his effort to lead with three furlongs left to run, but he could not sustain his challenge and soon dropped away. He possibly paid for racing too close to the strong early pace and we feel he is probably a horse that needs his own way out in front to win races. JOY BOY has been declared for Tuesday at Southwell and he should be suited by the extra furlong. He ran a good race last time but found the seven furlongs to sharp and I am sure he will appreciate this trip more. Southwell is a funny track as it is quite deep but hopefully he should not have a problem with the surface. The horses worked again on the Cambridge Road and we had Nick Bell on camera duty.
Margot Did MARGOT DID looked impressive and she continues to look good ahead of her trip to Dubai.
Holy Empress HOLY EMPRESS worked on her own and she is ready to take her chance as soon as we find the right race for her.
Dubai Sunshine and Jo Boy JO BOY looks in good form and has been declared for Tuesday at Southwell. DUBAI SUNSHINE continues to please and he is entered later in the week.
Rock of Monet and Wigmore Hall WIGMORE HALL has looked impressive in his work and he travelled well partnering ROCK OF MONET.
Ruacana RUACANA has started in fast work and he looked to be travelling well in his work,
Alan ALAN has started to find his form and he looks really well.
King of Jazz KING OF JAZZ is a nice looking individual and looks a nice prospect for this season.
