We were pleased with the run from CHELABELLA at Wolverhampton on Wednesday. She was always prominent and  was asked for her effort two furlongs out. She stayed on at the same pace in the final furlong suggesting she possibly got tired.

On Thursday we were delighted with the effort shown by GRACELAND at Chelmsford. Having only her second all weather start, she followed the winner through from the rear and ran a solid race on her seasonal return, pulling well clear of the third. She looks an exciting prospect for this year and hopefully will keep improving.

Yesterday we were delighted with the effort of BIG ORANGE at Newmarket. He attempted to make all and just could not sustain his effort. He kept battling on and ran a creditable third. He is such a versatile horse and obviously we know he stays further. We are so lucky to have him in the yard and it is great to have a decent campaigner after WIGMORE HALL. Our head lad, Twyron rides him and he does a great job in keeping him settled and happy. Hopefully there is more fun to come!

Today we have seen a decent effort from GOODWOOD MIRAGE who arrived to us via Jonjo O’Neill’s yard. He was never far away and this was a promising effort on his debut. He appears to be enjoying life in Newmarket and possibly the change in scenery is doing him the world of good. The majority of horses are running so well and all finishing in the frame so we have to be happy with this, it would just be nice to get a winner on the board. Later in the day we headed to Salisbury with FORTH BRIDGE. He was always kept handy and when asked for his effort he stayed on at the same pace entering the final furlong. It was a good effort and an improvement from his first run. We rounded the afternoon off with MACHINE LEARNER at Newmarket. He chased the leaders and when asked for his effort he looked to be struggling. It is disappointing that he failed to build on his first run, with possibly the ground drying up a bit too much for him.
