Sunday 1st February

February 2, 2015

On Friday LE ROUQUIN obliged again scoring at Lingfield. He tracked the leaders and was asked the question to pick up the leader turning for home. He got the job done and it looked a slightly easier victory when getting his head in front and running on. He seems to appreciate a galloping track and is on the improve. He will now have a break before coming back for a campaign on the turf.

Today CHASING RUBIES tracked the leaders and was soon ridden. She was unable to quicken just over a furlong from home and weakened inside the final furlong. She is now handicapped and hopefully she will get a mark that will enable her to be competitive. Later on the card LEWAMY failed to make any impression in his last race before the February Sales. Held up towards the rear, he made some headway into midfield over two furlongs out. He was ridden and could make no impression over a furlong out and finished seventh. Hopefully he will be popular at the sales and someone will take a shine to him.

Tomorrow we have declared FASHION LINE at Wolverhampton. She was slightly unlucky last time and if she gets a strong gallop in the race she should hopefully get competitive.

On Tuesday HABESHIA has his final run before the February Sales. He appears in good form and hopefully he can be competitive in this his final race before the sales.
